I was able to walk throughout my entire home and get sound wirelessly transmitted from my PC. I don’t have either of these consoles, but I’m told that they work as per the PC on the PS4 and, with an adapter, on the Xbox One too.

The ROG Strix Wireless came out hitting rather hard as it delivered on its promise of powerful, immersive gaming audio using a low-latency and reliable wireless connection.

Overall this a really nice gaming headset, the mic adjusts brilliantly and the addition of a 2.4GHz wireless dongle is amazing, but something you should come to expect at this price point. The IO on the side of the earcup is thorough enough, with volume up and down, a power button and microphone mute button. The lack of RGB may be a problem for some and a blessing for others, but if that annoys you then sadly this just isn’t the headset for you.

This headset is a really solid choice for wireless gaming, with great sound quality, a decent bit of back end software and strong comfort. It damn near approaches a perfect score.
